  • HOUSING NOTICE: Conference lodging is available at subsidized rates at area hotels.   You must reserve your hotel lodging by August 9 to be assured of a room.  
  • CPT is arranging low-cost alternate housing at area churches and homes.   Be sure to indicate your interest in this option when you register.
  • Food is not included as part of the main conference.   However, CPT is working to find alternate communal meal arrangements at near-by locations.  Be sure to indicate your interest in this option when you register.

     ...include author and CPTer Peggy Gish on Iraq:

Peggy Gish (Church of the Brethren) has been working in Iraq with Christian Peacemaker Teams since October 2002, before, during, and after the 2003 war. Gish is a grandmother, farmer, community mediator, conflict management trainer, and former co-director of the Appalachian Peace and Justice Network in Athens, Ohio. Her book Iraq: a Journey of Hope and Peace (Herald Press, 2004) tells the story of her experiences and CPT's work in Iraq.
