Though I must admit at being suspicious of "do-gooders" from outside, I'm prepared to make an exception for CPT. Not only are the volunteers I've met women and men of highest integrity, but, talking to them, I was left with the impression that they recognize the complexities of the situation and would not issue blanket condemnation of Israelis or express uncritical views of Palestinians.

I deplore your use of the word "Christian" in your branding and your utter hypocrisy in defending young "Palestinian" children being brought up to bear arms. Your message and activities put at risk the work of good Christians. The CPT writings on Israel and the Palestinian territories are second only to Al Jazeera for their bias and hatred. There is no way your CPT group can contribute to peace in the Middle East while your scribes and photographers there maintain such a pin-hole camera view. I am aghast at how the Christian message of "Peace" has been so perverted.Lee Goffin,

Your Spring 2008 Sign of the Times issue was unusually interesting to me because it showed a picture of Atta Jabber in the Beqa'a Valley. Our 2004 CPT delegation spent an afternoon with him and his extended family living in their semi-demolished house. They all seemed incredibly brave.
