PRAYERS FOR PEACEMAKERS, Wednesday, May 30, 2001

Pray for peace and respect for indigenous rights in Mexico. The government
has weakened clauses in the San Andreas Accords which had recognized
indigenous culture and limited autonomy. These changes will jeopardize
peace efforts in Chiapas state.
