HEBRON: CHRISTIAN PEACEMAKER TEAM APARTMENT IN HEBRON HIT DURING FIREFIGHT
Members of the Christian Peacemaker Team working in Hebron woke on the
morning of June 20
to find that the balcony of the upstairs women's apartment had been
hit by six bullet holes during the heavy shooting during the night. One
bullet pierced the balcony door leading into the apartment and went through
boxes and sheets stacked on a nearby shelf.
The bullet hole clearly frames a military post on top of the roof of the
settlement of Avraham Avinu when one looks through it from inside the
apartment.
No one was injured in the CPT apartment. CPT workers currently in Hebron
are Grace Boyer (Princeton, NJ), Le Anne Clausen (Mason City, IA), Kathy
Kamphoefner (St.Louis, MO), Kathleen Kern (Rochester, NY), Rick Polhamus
(Fletcher, OH), Dianne Roe (Corning, NY), Greg Rollins (Surrey, BC), and
Jim Satterwhite ( Bluffton, OH).
