AL-KHALIL (HEBRON): Neighbour of Hebron CPT arrested for
alleged stone-throwing

On Saturday evening 18 May at
about 7.30 p.m. A squad of at least ten Israeli soldiers arrested a neighbor and friend of CPT Hebron. She was
accused of throwing a stone from the roof of her apartment onto a group of
settlers who were celebrating on Shuhada Street. One of the arresting soldiers
said that he had personally witnessed the offence.

She was taken to an Israeli
police station for questioning and was told there that a female settler had
also lodged a complaint against her. The settler was brought into the
interrogation room and was asked to identify the team’s neighbour as the stone-thrower,
which she did.

She was eventually
released after questioning, and arrived back at her apartment at midnight. She
had to return to the police station again Sunday morning.
