Events Marking the Third Anniversary of the Iraq War
A vigil was held in Church Square, St Andrews, Scotland on the evening of Sunday 19 March 2006, at which thirty people were present. Jan Benvie and Maureen Jack, the two Scottish CPTers, spoke of their sadness at the death of Tom Fox and of their concern for Jim Loney, Norman Kember and Harmeet Sooden. Prayers were said for the men and their families, and also for the tens of thousands of Iraqi families who have lost loved ones during the war and subsequent occupation.
