On November 16, CPT put out an Urgent Action in which we encouraged our U.S.
constituency to write their legislators asking them not to approve U.S. funds
for the building of bypass roads that could result in hundreds of Palestinian
home demolitions.

The Canadian government is not culpable for subsidizing Israel in the same
ways that the U.S. Government does. However, we would encourage our Canadian
constituency to write to the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa and ask that U.S. stop
subsidizing these bypass roads and the subsequent confiscation of Palestinian
land and demolitions of Palestinian homes they will cause.
