Scott Albrecht
Scott
is a Reserve member of the Peacemaker Corps. His first involvement with CPT
was participating on a delegation to Chiapas, Mexico, in July 2001. He completed
training in May 2002, beginning as a Reservist. He has served five terms in
Colombia, totalling 12 months, and two months in Asubpeeschoseewagong (Grassy
Narrows, ON). He also completed a three-year term providing support to the CPT
Toronto office. Prior to joining CPT, Scott completed a pastoral internship
at First Mennonite Church and House of Friendship, a Christian social-service
agency in Kitchener. He also worked at a bakery for two years. He currently
works part-time as a baker as well as in a church office.
Scott is married to Katharine Albrecht, and lives in Kitchener, Ontario. Scott and Katharine are active members of First Mennonite Church, a bi-cultural Anglo/Hispanic congregation.
