Happy New Year?

Pictured here: The Israeli Paratrooper unit currently in Hebron chose New Year’s Eve (Gregorian Calendar) to stop cars and pedestrians coming into the Old City of Hebron and ask for their IDs. CPTers were coming on their way home from a party thrown by their EAPPI colleagues and rang in 2017 monitoring Israeli military treatment of Palestinian civilians.

Breaking The Silence

Pictured here: On Friday, 300 Israelis came to Hebron to hear stories from ex-combatants who previously served in the IDF about the situation in Hebron and their experiences. Rebuilding Structure

Pictured here: Settlers continue to modify and adapt this structure on private Palestinian farmland between the settlements of Kiryat Arba and Givat Havot. They call it a synagogue. Under the Fourth Geneva Convention all settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories are illegal. This settlement outpost is illegal under Israeli law as well.
