Occupied Bodies 

 

Pictured here:  The violation of a body search is commonplace under occupation here in Hebron. After settlers had attacked Palestinians with stones, this Palestinian teenager was stopped and searched arbitrarily by Israeli soldiers. As is frequent, he was forced to pull up his top, spin around and wait by a wall until he was allowed to walk past.

Wait Here

Pictured here:  Access to one’s place of worship is a fundamental human right. Despite this, Palestinians are daily restricted by Israeli checkpoints as they journey to the Ibrahimi mosque in occupied Hebron. This Friday, Israeli Border Police were particularly aggressive and restrictive, detaining numerous Palestinians en route to Friday prayers.

A Walk through Occupation

 

Pictured here: A Palestinian girl walks through the streets of Hebron’s Old City during the weekly settler incursion. In an obnoxious show of force, power and control, approximately forty Israeli settlers and visitors occupied the streets of Hebron, flanked by dozens of Israeli soldiers and Border Police. As a consequence, Palestinian lives are further disrupted as shops close and restrictions of movement are heightened.

Road Works 

 

Pictured here: After countless floods on the streets of Hebron’s Old City, Palestinians have finally received permission from the Israeli military to develop drainage and infrastructure in the Souk. Palestinians cannot build in the H2 area of Hebron without the permission of the occupying Israeli army.
