In the midst of this financially troubled time, CPT needs to move the Chicago office and training facilities.  In June CPT purchased a property for less than one-third of what it sold for two years ago.  We hope to manage this purchase and renovation without taking a penny away from peacemaking projects in the field.   To do that we need:

  • Donated labor and materials.  Supporters are pitching in − from attorneys and architects to carpenters and cleaners of catch basins.  We need more help through the fall and winter − from windows to wheel chair access, from siding to cement, from plumbing to paint.
  • Donated funds and interest-free loans of $5,000 or more.  CPT has already received loans covering the full purchase price.  We need about $50,000 more in donations and/or loans to meet the renovation costs.
