Pray for their families who live with the trauma of having beloved family members arrested and imprisoned and having little or no access to them in prison or in court.
CPT stands in solidarity with the Badinan Prisoners and their families calling for the courts to take further steps to ensure the safeguarding of freedom of expression in Iraqi Kurdistan.
To build transformative relationships and live out of a framework of love rather than fear, we need to balance this reality with a refusal to succumb to hurtful and alienating mistrust of strangers and friends.
Pray for justice and freedom for 76 civil rights activists and independent journalists from Badinan Region in Iraqi Kurdistan.
