Long-time CPT-Iraq team member, Peggy Gish, has been working on a crisis team in Nigeria for the Church of the Brethren, one of CPT’s sponsoring denominations.   An estimated 600,000 members of the Nigerian Church of the Brethren (the EYN) have been affected by the violence of Boko Haram in northeastern Nigeria.  Local church leaders are committed to helping people heal from the trauma and reconcile with their Muslim neighbors who have also suffered a great deal.   Read Gish’s stories on her website: https://plottingpeace.wordpress.com.
