“When they heard about our budget short- fall, individuals and congregations responded generously. We are hopeful, but continue to covet your prayers and support as we count on the largest share of income during the closing months of the year,” said Carol Rose, CPT Co-Director.
Last year’s lack of funds caused CPT to suspend work in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Donor generosity this spring allowed CPT to renew project work in al-Khalil (Hebron) and postpone further project closures for now.
“We have personnel openings on every team, but we still can’t grow the full time Peacemaker Corps. Hopefully, with ongoing contributions, we will be able to end that freeze,” reports Rose.
CPTers continue to implement cost-cutting measures that will ensure every donated dollar is spent thoughtfully.
