Pictured here: Israeli forces at Salimeh checkpoint fired tear gas in response to three boys throwing stones at the checkpoint. One tear gas canister landed in a school yard affecting every student in the area.

Shuhada Street

Pictured here: A group of forty-fifty Palestinian, Israeli and international activists processed down to the gate of the army base in Bab il Baledeyya in a nonviolent demonstration organized by Hebron Defense Committee. The demonstration was held in Hebron for Open Shuhada Street to commemorate the 1994 massacre at the Ibrahim Mosque, and to ask for the freedom of Palestinian journalist Muhammad Al-Qiq who has been on hunger strike since November.
