Prayers for
Peacemakers, January 6, 2016

Pray that 2016 will bring a renewed commitment to peace
talks between the Colombian government and the FARC and ELN guerilla groups, a commitment to reparations for the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia,
and an end to impunity for the authors of human rights abuses.

For he delivers the needy when they call, the poor and those who have no helper.
He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy.
From oppression and violence he redeems their life; and precious is their blood in his sight. Psalms 72: 12-14
