A call for justice in Lesvos

For those cast into the sea, for the hands that grasp in the darkness, for the feet that find no shore: we speak their names, we remember their struggle.

The weary, the wounded, the wandering – they do not vanish when pushed back into the night. Their dignity is not erased by indifference, their right to safety is not negotiable.

Expose the works of cruelty: the masked men who sabotage the boats, the policies that turn borders into walls, the leaders who claim righteousness while crushing the helpless.

May silence never be our response. May those who turn away be moved to see. May those who wield power be held accountable. May those who seek justice find the courage to stand.

Lesvos is more than an island – it is a test of our humanity. A place where some refuse to look away, where resistance and solidarity still exist, where the tide must one day turn.

May conscience be our guide, and may compassion prevail.
