CPT INTERNATIONAL: Communications & Engagement Director and
Program Director position openings
Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) invites expressions of interest in
and nominations for the positions of Communications & Engagement Director
and Program Director.
The Communications & Engagement Director will coordinate,
develop and implement a new overall CPT communications strategy that shares CPT’s
story in a way that honors the voices of CPT’s partners, undoes oppression and
furthers CPT’s mission, vision and values.
The Program Director will to oversee current projects and support
of Peacemaker and Reserve Corps with attention to team and partner needs,
direction, budget, sustainability, personnel processes and health.

Timing:
Preferred contract start is May 2014 but time is allotted that month (but no
funds) to participate in a CPT
delegation or relocate to Chicago, IL, USA if necessary.
Appointment
will be for an initial period of three years.
Compensation: Need-based stipend of up to $2000/month, and incredibly
meaningful work within a team of gutsy and committed peacemakers.
Location: Chicago, IL, USA at least for first year in the position.
Both managing directors need to be able to gain entry to spaces where CPT holds
gatherings. The Program Director must be available to travel to
project sites for extended periods. CPT is aware of potential visa issues will
work with the chosen applicant to try to acquire necessary visas.
Persons with the required experience and skills who are not members of
the CPT Peacemaker and Reserve Corps are welcome to apply. If chosen as the
most promising applicant, an individual will be invited to participate in a CPT delegation and
month-long training/discernment process 11 July-11 August 2014 in Chicago,
prior to finalizing appointment to this position.
