More Demolition Threats

Pictured here: South Hebron Hills (SHH) popular committee in At-Tuwani village invited some organizations to discuss the increase of demolitions in SHH. With villages recently demolished in the area, and others with upcoming court dates, the fear of demolition and settlement expansions are right at Palestinians door steps. A few days ago, Israeli forces destroyed a Palestinian village in the Negev called Um Al Hiran, see the video.

Pictured here: On this morning 8 Israeli soldiers stood at Bab Al-Baladyeh holding 39 Palestinian men for up to an hour. Initially 9 men were held for 30 minutes, before the soldiers went back to their base. An hour and a half later, they came out again checking the ID of young men, stopping them in the middle of the day.

Ghassan

Pictured here: Last week 20 year old, Ghassan, was detained for 2 hours and 45 minutes, held outside the whole time on the military base in the Old City. “I told them many times that my wrists were hurting. In particular my right hand. I have a sore wrist, from a previous surgery. When I told the soldier, he tightened the cable-tie, deliberately, on my right wrist where the pain was.” He recounts the story here.
