Let us all join together in prayer for the peace and safety of the farmers in the community of Las Pavas, located in the Magdalena Medio region in Colombia. Pray for an end to the violence, threats and harassment that they constantly face.

The community of Las Pavas has peacefully resisted the armed conflict and forced displacement because of their love for their land and because of their absolute hope and trust in justice. Even so, the harassment doesn’t stop, and in the last few months, the community has made public complaints regarding new threats by armed people related to water poisoning, crop-burning and cattle theft.

Let us take the community of Las Pavas into our prayers and into our hearts.
